Captians log...

They’ll put you in a better mood when you shred ‘em, so pull up a chair and talk about ‘em

It helps a bit.

Not a massive difference, but worth it. Originally I made my own with those old hexagon stomp pads that came with B bindings (virtually same foam/thickness), before their kits came out. I was inspired to to do it because metal baseplates are slippery.. when you use forward lean, it was hard to get the boot all the way back in the binding, as they wanted to be pushed forward. Maybe less of the case with the milled-out baseplates, but I've only ever had the solid ones.

Today was super fun.. had a bit of an inversion and conditions were fairly spring-like. Mashed tater hot-hit laps with the dudes. Hopefully more tomorrow.

Not much filming so far this winter (yet), but here's a short mash of clips from a month ago during bunny hill days.

Things locked up night before last, so yesterday was pretty crunchy. Nonetheless, a beautiful day, and it was a rideable crust out the ridge. Hearing air between turns is fun 🙄 Made a little ditty for Eaglecrest.

Trollhaugen for life.

but we are pretty set all over. Afton Alps if you want a little more terrain close to the Twin Cities, Welch Village for the same but without paying Vail. Wild Mountain has a nice long, right hand curve, green run that is just sidehits all the way down. I could lap that run all day as ,on gas it stays filled in.
