I posted the available specs somewhere.. in some thread .. I think
Cheers dude. That’s about as much as I could say with only five runs on it. I’ve asked our B rep if I can ride it in our local banked slalom in March. I’m sure there will be more thoughts about it as ‘26 gear demos keep rolling.bboytommy wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 4:22 pmall good! appreciate you spreading the hype and sharing your POVad1105 wrote: Wed Jan 15, 2025 4:07 pm I have no idea on specs, sorry. I was hoping to ride the 163 but the 158 felt pretty great. I was riding with 9.5 Vans Verses and didn’t sketch out while carving at speed. It’s what I was hoping for in the Showstopper from a couple seasons back.
I can answer this for you in the next day or twosolberg wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2025 2:28 am I have a question about the distance between the channels! Not sure about this since on the B website they only list the reference stance, but this doesn't necessarily means the channel is still at the same place (regarding different board lengths).
Yesterday I demoed the HTH160 and with large EST bindings stance options are somewhat limited when placing the binding more centered (to effective edge/running length/contact points) because the binding itself is pretty wide. I'm curious if the channels are in the same distance in the next length (165)? Running length ist +5cm so it's not the case that nose and tail are just longer. But reference stance remains the same. Just wondering in the channel also moves...
I just checked on a HTH 160 vs a 165W (not the same years though, but i don't think there are any changes) and the channels are located the same amount apart form each other (approx 12 inches). Its the same for a 162 custom vs a 166W custom (only one year apart), if you place them side by side on the floor the channels and ref stances line up. I guess the way to think of it is the difference in lengths are at the ends of the boards not so much between the feet, if that makes sense.solberg wrote: Sun Jan 19, 2025 2:28 am I have a question about the distance between the channels!
