The TF and Otto are new to me but I've been riding both a bunch over the last few weeks in different conditions, enough so that both are solidly part of the quiver. I've had the Dart for about 4 years and it's a keeper for sure. I prefer the cleaner bright white Poland-built finishes like on my Dart, but honestly after riding them I'd still buy these decks even if they were pink with purple Barneys on them.*

Dont know why i have to be so hasty about everything , first day tf felt horrible but on second day it feels super good.

Just needs speed to turn but otherwise really nice.

No worries on baby feet

Trying to keep it simple, but I know it'll run on… now that chairs are closed, with a bunch of time on each TF, some conclusions on my korua experience

New: Better on edge… more bite & can drive harder. Easily prefer carving it to the 31mm shapes. Maybe more planted overall. More freeride, down the fall line. Obviously better switch - very rideable backward. Arguably, I still feel like if either of them is stiffer overall, it's the new one. Standing, can feel the firmer torsional flex. Tip to tail is pretty negligible, but I might still say new one. Most people probably wouldn't notice, and I basically don't in-action, so it's more of a retrospective view. It's so close that it's just part of the slight differences in the way they each ride, rather than "they changed the flex." I like the Poland boards for sure, but the new factory boards are simply more refined in their finish and shaping detail. That's whatever to me, but something to note.

I love the new one. Would put it on my short list of favorite boards. The width feels good to me, but I think I would really like one if it were just a hair narrower, like 264

Old: Whenever I feel like having a boost in maneuverability/slashing/float in soft snow. Heavy slush days, deep snow, especially if I know I'm riding a lot of steeper woods that day. Both float really well, but this one is just better, without feeling loose or fishy like some other heavily tapered boards. Allows for freedom of movement a bit better in soft/deep snow. Carving/all-around riding is fine of course, but just not the same as the new one.

Neither is as good as many of my past decks when groomers are firm. Something about the way they bite, to me, doesn't like hard snow as much. I might attribute a lot of that to having early rise on both ends. It's also possible that the width plays into it. "Functional waist width" is often slightly narrower as snow gets hard. And definitely the taper on the old one.

Café racer… slightly stiffer "I notice on snow," with a quieter and less playful vibe. While I do like both TFs more in general, I did learn where I like it. For me, it's the most powder oriented of them all - great float, and I like that extra calm, stout, stabile feeling on those days. If I had to pick one of these three for bigger lines, this would be it. Only got to carve it a little, but still prefer the new TF. Given the intent of the CR, I think it would make a lot of sense for them to move it to the new TF spec platform. Not sure if I'll end up keeping it in the long run. No regrets either way.

Because of how I found the TFs to differ, and I pretty much only ride the old one for pow days, it would make sense to get a pencil 64. Whether that takes its place, or I keep both, I don't know. It would be the fun of the OG TF platform, with the float & flow inspiration of the CR nose.

Still not really interested in any of their other boards at this time.

I still think the Pencil 64 is the one.
$0.02, there wasn’t anything the CR could do that the Pencil couldn’t.

I also liked the Pencil way more than the CR.

That's where I'm leaning. I like the CR, but I'd ride a pencil a lot more.
