i swapped my drives over to my aeronaut and wondering if i want something a little softer on the TF '54, or just stick with what i know and like. ultra aggressive bindings do get tiresome after a while
I prefer stiffer baseplate bindings on wider waists. Don't need mega stiff carbon bindings unless I'm going absurdly wide (like 278 mm waists with size 10 boots), but on the 268-269 mm waist Koruas, I do just fine with Jones Mercury. Touch less aggressive than the Drives-- shorter and slightly softer highback, different straps + ratchet, otherwise identical base tray.

FWIW Wolken appears to ride Forces.

Union Atlas and Burton Cartel X are good choices too.

Union Atlas, Atlas Pros or some Franked version of either have been my favourite on any Korua.
Been on various models from Burton, Now and Flux, but always end up going back to Union. I absolutely get why so many Korua homies gravitate towards Now. I just prefer the feel of Union, especially since they dialled the problems that plagued the brand for so long (uncomfortable straps, shitty dampening, loosening screws, shitty buckle springs, etc.).
a bit of taper, a lot of camber

I use my CartelX for everything, Koruas included. The GenX prior to. Even though I wasn't won over by them, the Jones Merc was a very good pair and had great response with my 59 Pencil and 57 TF+ at the time.

My ideal/dream binding right now would be any bindings with B board feel, but the response of the Jones Merc. If anyone knows a binding that feels close to this, lmk!

Spenser just bought a lightly used café racer 59.

Perfect groomers today, carving on the transition finder. I was thinking... you know, if this were just a little stiffer and full camber, it would be perfect today. And that's the café.

Look at me go

Edit: no shipping update on the new TF for a full week now. It was released from US customs, so not sure what's up. Won't be surprised if I get the Cafe first.
