I'm 75% of the way there. My 25% holdback is that the TF in my mind is darn similar and sort of fits right in between my 2 main rides the 151 Sickstick and the 154 Optimistic. But with more setback and a slightly bigger sidecut. So in a sense I already know I'm going to like it, but it feels a wee bit redundant for the amount of riding I'm getting these days. y'all getting to me tho

Every once in a while the EZ buzz gets me too and TF is close enough to my Optimistic that I think I may like it. Eyes open for a 54 also.
Warning, they are special and you may sell everything else and start fiending on a quiver of the same board with different tip shapes.
A bit like NOW bindings, the ride is so particular that I found it difficult to go back and forth between Korua and other brands.
After this winter I feel like selling everything anyhow.
Beside the secret inner cool feeling of rocking the white top and red base boards, what makes the ride that much different? Construction wise it doesn't stand out as anything new or different. These coming from GP87 errr?
I think the sidecut is maybe the most particular thing. Tighter in the front and longer in the tail, so you really accelerate through a turn. Jerry Neidermeyer still shapes race boards so I guess that’s a heavy influence on how they ride. I’ve never been on anything like that before. Alongside the very long and smooth blend zones, the core profiling is super dialed for the purpose and the straightforward layup makes for a very predictable ride.
So yeah, kind of everything really lol. And they just look better than anything else on the market IMO.
Oh yeah and they’re really cheap (relatively speaking)
etc

Absolutely not like that deck at all, in any way shape or form. I haven't ridden that deck in its current life form but did help to develop it as an R&D rider for Salmon when it first came to market. No overlap. Two completely different personalities.

It's going to be stiffer, with more camber, and significantly damper than that deck

I don't have a TF (one on the way) but I've owned 4 different Korua models: They all seem to have some similar attributes: voodoo sidecut for sure, also they're imperturbable in any kind of snow (did I just invent a new word?). 100% predictable in any snow condition, very damp but also somehow still with plenty of flex and pop, carving seems to be job #1 with all of them, even the Dart.
And I'm with @kevington, best looking board on the hill and reasonalby priced as well.
Ended up randomly meeting a few people who came up from Washington for our snow, as I guess it's pretty bad down there. One of them was on a new TF 160 and we had been missing each other all day, seeing the red bases. Finally said hi and ended up riding together the rest of the day. Couple of shredders. The korua magic is real

They're almost nonexistent here, so the red base really acts as a bat signal if you have one. Have I mentioned how much I absolutely love this board?

Okay. That's helpful. I understand a bit better where it would fit for me.
