Captians log...

They’ll put you in a better mood when you shred ‘em, so pull up a chair and talk about ‘em

i've been terrible with taking photos/video this season, i will be better about this going forward.

we were off to a decent start here, with a good week of snow during thanksgiving that i wasn't in the country for unfortunately. dry pattern now, with storm flow seemingly not getting far enough south. hoping we get a proper refresh soon but will enjoy what i can in the meantime.

got out on the split finally for day 8 of the season. was much more fun going up than down, a phrase i wish to never use.

low tide vibez

I'm in the UK on vacation, and I'd never been in a dry slope before. I had to give it a try.

(Well, not *had to*, but I was curious 😂)

So far, my conclusion is that it's like falling onto the most sadistic exfoliation device ever made. I forgot my left glove at the hotel, so that hand has a healthy number of scratches.

I've ridden some version of that stuff at Woodward. Falling is not an option haha.

In college in the early '90s, we would go to the dry ski slope it was fun for a midweek ski. I don't remember why but they wouldn't let me snowboard on it.

Yeah. Talk about no-fall zones. I wish I'd packed my protective gear, lol
