From what I've seen for years, most mag on most of their boards is significantly mellower than it ever used to be, particularly on the freeride stuff I've been interested in. I can't recall the last aggressive MTX board I saw.

Lib Rig 156
That's one I've had my eye on too, I'm interested to hear ride impressions once you've had it on snow. Hard to tell from the pic, but how aggressive would you say the magnetraction is? I'm hoping it's minimal...
Between this and the Banked Country it looks like I'll be back on a Mervin deck in the future.
Indeed the mag is minimal on the Rig!
And the Banked Country is also a must have tbh, I have both

Aggressive mag was awful. You could literally feel it serrating against snow in firm conditions and it made disengaging from turns exhausting on camber decks. Sacrificed flow for the extra grip.
Seems like it's gotten progressively mellower in even the past few years. Lib Rig is way mellower than the Billy Goat I demoed around 2018, which was way mellower than boards from 10 years prior. I had to look at the Banked Country a couple times to visually confirm which half of the edge had mag

I've been waiting for a larger Bubo 154 for some time and now it's here. Not entirely convinced of the graphics... but whatever. They also gave it a minimal camber, which I don't really approve but maybe it's just a positive thing in the end. It's very minimal.
Ordered the Horizon 159 again and this one doesn't have the air bubbles the previous one had. I haven't yet decided to keep the Horizon but maybe this is the perfect small hills board for riding around with the family. The thought was to replace the Pluv with this on the smaller slopes.

Well then you're going to have to give us a full and detailed comparison between the two once you've had some time on the Rig!

EDIT: After waxing a couple of boards and figuring this thing out, all I can say is wow! You use hardly any wax, there is essentially no scraping, just hit it with the roto brush and you're done, the whole process is much, much quicker.

New style waxer, no more scraping.

A few off season marketplace purchases for me. Kazu 154, decent overall shape, I overpaid though I think lol. Mind Expander 158, also overpaid but at least JJ didn't get any money since it's second hand. I have no idea why but a rockered board has been calling my name the past couple of seasons so here we are. Half the price of the Korua Uberegg that I actually want so that's cool I guess. Last pic is a Moss 26SW that I snagged for one of my nephews. My brother already has a Children of the Pow 130, and a Yes Pow Inc. 125 but seeing how the youngest will want a pow board this season or next since his older brothers have their own I had to grab it.
