I've actually used them a few times yet so I know that I need to practice more. But at home I don’t have problem but on the snow…

Has anyone had this problem?

Any tips?

Thank you!!
In general not having that as a regular issue
. But i'll often do a little rockback on my tail, like a lil tail press, as little measure of reassurance. Soumetimes as part of a penguin walk or pivot or to get loose. Think of it like a ritual extra ratchet click.

I did this same thing when I rode them. Tail press, nose press, good to go.

Is that guy really a "pro" though? Seems more of an influencer than pro.
he filmed for the latest Burton street movie, he's competed in Heavy Metal, and he shows up to local events.

what's the difference between a pro and an influencer? is Zeb an influencer? is Jeremy Jones an influencer?

It's easier to dismiss one in an attempt to fit a predetermined personal narrative regardless of its validity, due to logical fallacies such as 'appeal to authority'.

He's a pro with a marketing degree. So he definitely knows how to succeed as an "influencer" as well.

Thank you @C.Fuzzy and @eleveneightnate I've been trying to repeatedly rock my heel from left to right while pressing down, and that's starting to work for me. It generates a lot of press. I've spoken to other riders, and it's possibly a specific problem with ESTs, but I'll try to do that little rockback on my tail 👍

you're seriously going to put this guy in the same category as Zeb and JJ?

i’m saying the main job of a “pro” is to be an influencer. so, yes, since they are all pros.

Maybe @AyAyRon can break down the hierarchy of evaluating riders so we can all know who we should be blindly following.

It would really help to know if I should only listen to guys getting paid to promote products, or where the certain cut off in income is that let's us know that their equipment preferences are no good.

@all ez loungers...

I'm going to ask you post your professional status before I take any of your opinions into consideration.

Solution to the difficulty in engaging the second click on the EST Step-Ons:
I spoke with Burton Europe, and they will sent me two new modified heel cleats. They didn't ask me for anything. But if they have modified cleats, I understand this happens frequently…

@jsil the cleats sit 2mm lower
