I've got a 159 straight chuter and I've got mixed feelings about it. I also have an OG 159 cheetah and I feel like they are similar, other than the SC being much lighter. I've only had the cheetah in real steep and deep a few times and you can tell that is what it was made for and I feel like the chuter is the same animal. Maybe it's the setback highpoint in the camber/stance. Wondering if anyone else feels the same about it.

I'm in the midwest so I've definitely gravitated towards the boards made for low angle pow, not that we've gotten much in the last bunch of years. I've been stoked on any B boards that have been designed by the Japanese dude that they work with. Moonbuggy, Forager, Skipjack, all slay in not as steep pow and just seem to be more fun although maybe not the best for straight lining chutes.

I briefly had a Stellar but holy shit was it floppy past the front foot. Also too skinny for most. Was a sick board though.. blue/green with the skid plate.. with a hole drilled in the nose lol

My OG cheetah 59 is floppy in the nose. I imagine a longer one would be really bad. Maybe they have fixed that though. I remember my Landlord 63 was a bit floppy as well. Could have been a symptom of the earlier family tree boards.

That board seems to have a solid core till the contact point, so maybe they changed it up a little. Moon Buggy had the same floppyness, could roll over the nose at any time if you're not careful. Big board that lightweights can use, and amazing turns for everyone on smooth snow/groomers.

OG Cheetah was one of my favorite boards, floppy nose and all. Something special about it

Mine too until I set foot on the 52 Skipjack. For how I like to ride that board is unreal. It floats, slashes, and is so fast in and out of patches of pow. It rips on groomers as well. Ski Tracks had me at 64mph bombing corduroy on a little 152 board which is nuts. I currently have a reissued one made at Craig’s but when it came out I had the original Tappi color one made in Austria and I wish I never sold it. The Austrian boards are stiffer than the ones made at Craig’s and I liked that version more.
