No, I ordered mine from Japan.

How did you do that? I need that green guide jacket

Standard ak sizing or 1 size up from US Size?
I wear a Large in standard ak. Should I go with XL guide?
This is the easiest way to order from Japan...

Neokyo

It's a forwarding service, they will buy the item for you then charge you then ship it to you.

Yes, size up one size, you can see from the label a Jap XL is US L
Did you put your size in the item option section?

I didn't actually use that service, I used a different one that is a bit more complex to get set up. But, yes, I would put the size in that section if it were me.

Does anyone know if the Ak Hover Stretch and the Ak Hover Gore-Tex Pro fit exactly the same or not?

Do you mean are they the same cut?

If so yes.

Do they fit the same, no, that's the point of stretch.

Yea I meant the cut, Thanks! My shop only has the Stretch but I want to order the hover GoreTex Pro so I was wondering if its a safe bet to get the same size.

How does the fact it stretches affect the way it fits?

It for sure changes the way it lays, pulls and articulates. Having had AK jackets and bibs of the same in both traditional fabric and with the stretch fabric, I personally prefer traditional fabric.

The material will naturally have less structure, won't drape the same, and the material will have more give. I'd also guess they probably use a thinner, less durable face fabric on the stretch version.

My opinions on mountain hardshells:
Traditional hardshell + Good fit > Stretch hardshell + Good fit >> Stretch + Mediocre Fit >>>>>> Non-stretch + Mediocre Fit

My Arc'teryx Rush (Goretex Pro 3L) and Burton Cyclic (Gore 2L) move with me way more naturally than a Patagonia Refugitive (Gore C-knit backer) I have lying around, and a couple other stretch jackets I've tried on. They move with my body better with less pulling and tugging through range of motion. The higher natural structure also resists wind better and little things like opening and closer pit zips is way easier. Also seems more breathable, which is the big reason I prefer the traditional construction.
