I call the one in the Outback at Keystone "hell". @YukonCornelius I bet you know what I'm talking about. Thing is a leg burner!

Also referred to a a luge track exit.

When the trees tighten up and there's a single line that leads out that is hardpacked with lots of turns and tight spots. Usually where you have to keep your speed up to make it out.

Yeah, common term out west.

Sometimes called a pump track exit, as well.

Hot damn.

The Goat rips.

Today was my first pow day on it. There was about 14” new when the lifts opened and 21” in the last 48. So it was a legit day to see how it would do at Brighton.

It’s like the best of both worlds.

It’s stiff like a Korua, but it’s way more snappy and lively. It crushes chunder. Today was a chunder day ( a bit heavier pow, but not Cascade Concrete) and it just killed it, honestly maybe the best deck I’ve ridden in chunder.

When I got this my intent was to have it be my Snowbird deck, because it has a 10.0m side cut radius. That has never been my jam so much and I though that at Brighton in the trees it would be a tiring handfull, but it’s not.

Bjorn has always told me how great it is, but I took that with a grain of salt since his business is slinging these things. But it is great.

So you own a goat, a lynx (solid and split) and a powgoda? When would you ride the goat and when would you ride the lynx? Did you try the bonsai?

I own a Goat, Lynx ( solid and split ) and Swell ( solid and split )

The Lynx decks are the early season rock decks, They ride great and for early season with limited terrain as its a pretty medium flex, so kinda jibby.

The Goat is basically my daily driver once there is decent snow coverage. It does everything well, if I had to own only own board for the rest of my life I think this would be it. ( with a split version as well )

The Swell is the ultimate floating pow deck. with 30mm of taper the nose just stays up. For a "pow" deck it's actually fairly stiff ( 7-8 ), which I love. The taper and tight sidecut let it rip tight trees and crush pow, while the flex is there for smashing through chunder or ripping groomers, but it doesn’t feel like a stiff dead plank under your feet. It's my cat/heli deck and once there's decent coverage my DD split.

I did have a Powgoda, but it was too much in the middle of what I wanted. Not quite a full pow deck like the Swell and not quite a daily driver like the Goat.
