Sometimes I'm regretful I didn't pick up the great tits blowout on whiskey militia. I think they had them all for a hot second. even if it's not my personal steeze... and I have no clue what I'd have ever done with them. Still. Would've been the biggest tits i ever touched.

Yeah I share your regret for sure - we never ended up getting any here into AUS / NZ.
Fairly happy I acquired the YES. x CHI collab boards when I could though.

Nice new shape you showed previously @slidepath thanks for sharing!
Wondering what happened to this and if this or a version will ever make it to production?

To be honest, the release for the AFH (ActiveFlexHull) got put on the 'release' back burner due to some material supply hiccups. I actually rode it in Europe in 2020.... and it was (obviously) unlike anything I had ever ridden before. Such a different feeling on edge and through the tail .... VERY SPECIAL INDEED.
And I haven't had an update lately on the new release plan, but I will see if I can find out.

I have really mixed feelings with YES. I really like the specs of many of the boards they make, specially now when they have more full camber boards. But on the other hand I had so bad experience last winter with the warranty, or lack of it, that I am not sure if I want to try one again.
They have changed the epoxy formula for this year, so maybe the problems of the past are gone. At least I hope so. Although I feel the defect of my last YES board was not only due to the epoxy formula, but more like a production defect. The base ripped out of the board too easily.

yet another thing that was on the old EL was the multiple large delams on my optimistic and my documented repairs and me questioning the epoxy they were using before they came out and said they had a new 'stronger' epoxy. I think this would essentially be for all SAS brands? Idk. I hope the new formula is better, bc that old epoxy was a real fukkn' issue.

Can I please ask, what country did you buy your optimistic from, and what country did you attempt to warranty it?
Cheers.
