The Blossom reminded me a lot of the Nice Guy/Love. I had a 2018(?) Custom 54W and it felt like a stiff dead plank. It’s funny how subjective flex can be

It is interesting how subjective flex is given the weight ranges and the rider.

They are all really close in overall stiffness. Custom felt the softest of the 3 (Custom, FT, Blossom). The Blossom is interesting flex wise because it feels stiff but still was actually the easiest to press for me. Another board to consider is the 3D daily driver. I only have one day on mine but it fits into that all mountain board that can ride park well category. Similar camber profile and side cut to my Skeleton Key. And I agree Burton needs to re-lease the SK Twin...basically a perfect board that I kick myself for not buying when it came out.
This interpretation for example. I've spoken to few Burton reps who told me the Custom and Blossom are stiffer than Free Thinker. Never considered the daily driver though, so maybe I'll scope it out.
@mmanza , I know someone holding a SK twin if you have any interest. Not sure if he's looking to sell or trade though.

That’s surprising you heard the FT was less stiff than the custom. From my experience and others, it’s in between the custom and custom x

Hmm, I did hear the Free Thinker has gotten softer over the years. So maybe it depends on when it was compared to the Custom?

I've heard the same about the Deep Thinker getting softer, my 2021 DT certainly feels stiffer than I prefer.

More I expect the early days will be me pulling her around (whether indoors or on-snow). I also live 3 hours from the nearest resort so a lot of it will be on carpet.
If I lived in a mountain town or at least had easier access to a resort, I'd just go straight to a real board.

Offhand nothing in the board line speaks to me. I liked the Cartel X I demoed, but not enough to add non-NOW/Jones bindings. Might pick up some straps / ratchets to upgrade those NOW/Jones bindings.
I'll probably pick up a Riglet setup for the near-toddler, she should be stable upright by end of season.
For the rest, torn between:
- Sitting on it until I need new gear-- while inflation slowly eats away at it and I potentially forget about it lol
- Picking up a crap ton of practical basics (base layers, socks, snowboard tool, etc.)
- Spending it frivolously on something like a Mystery deck or Step-On Split bindings lmao.
Not to hijack the thread, but I'm looking at getting my little man a snowboard setup this season as well - sounds like he's a little older than yours (14 months and walking). I noticed the Riglet is 90cm and the After School Special comes in 80cm and 90cm. Any specific reason you're going for the Riglet over the After School Special?
FWIW I was planning on getting the handlebar accessory as well but can't decide which board to start him on.
The rope to pull the board is great. allows you to drive him turns and control speed. riglet also allows you to use it on the beach It’s cool

@Kimchi, how about their new sunglasses. They’re pretty good, build quality is nice (Japan)

Good suggestion but wrong consumer. I tried $100+ sunglasses a couple times to see if the financial hit motivated me to stop losing / breaking them-- no dice lol.

The only sunglasses I don't immediately lose are the cheapest ones. Its a cosmic joke that reminds me not to take shit too seriously.
