also, like… get an AirTag for your bag. In the 20 years I've traveled for snowboarding, I've never lost a bag, but this gives you some piece of mind.
I fly almost always direct, if I had to connect somewhere, I'd prob bring my pants+boots as carry on, otherwise I have always just packed everything in the board bag.
In the long run, I think I'm just going to stash some boards out to the places I frequently travel to

Yup, I'm fully on the AirTag program

Heretofore I've taken to shipping my gear UPS to my destinations. The tracking and the insurance was worth it to me, and I could ship a week in advance so there was built in margin of error. However, the airtag thing might be enough of a security blanket to make me fly with gear. I'm not an apple guy so I'll have to look into it. I just couldn't handle getting to my destination and not having what I need to actually ride. Getting a week away is 20x harder than shelling out the money for shipping. I have an Oakley Board Box roller that is pretty burly, but is basically unused so far.

The 203 Cannon doesn't fit in a Db Djärv. Bummer. Oh well at least it does in the roof box.

That blows, I assumed it would. Claims 212 cm capacity, but that must be total length. Bummer.

Inner is 205cm but the swallow tail lays on the wheels and the nose stretches the fabric in the front. Maybe works better if the nose lays where the wheels are. Damn skibag.

Just joined the program
I very rarely travel, but I'm sure I can find other uses for this thing after my MT trip

Just flew to JFK from YVR and my board bag was lost in transit. Thankfully on the return leg of the trip. I am full team carry-on whatever you can and pray pray pray the board bag doesnt disappear. Bought airtags the day this happened and have slapped them on literally everything.

Fir the people here in Europe: I saw that decathlon has some bags, looks like we'll made stuff , if I remember correctly the wheelie bag was something like 80€ and loooked like really good.
Style and colors lacks personality fantasy and appeal but if you don't care the price/value looks ok to me.
