man that was the era when they would just absolutely beat you down with a song until you truly hated it. seems like a great dude and probably a talented musician, but kiss from a rose is up there that 4 non-blondes one for songs i can still 'hear' to this day without listening to them.

At 5'9" 155lbs and short legs, I thought the 161 Descender was a bit much for me in tighter stuff. I don't mind long boards in tight trees as long as you're fairly setback with a short tail.
I sold it to a buddy who's quiver was an Amplid Singular 158 and a K2 Antitode 159 and he absolutely loved the Descender. So much so that he's selling the Antitode and may keep the Singular as a rock board.
I traded someone my US Cadet 158 that I didn't love for a Descender 158, so I'll give that a shot next season.

Descender 158 seemed like enough board for me, and a little taller/heavier, but same thing with the legs.
