I've essentially been riding the same board (Tom Sims Pro/Academy Master 157) for over 5 years, and a slightly more playful but still powerful twin sounds like a fun diversion. Riding Mammoth again tomorrow and Wave Rave has a 156 left at a decent price. Hmmmm....

Love my regular DOA. Definitely wanna try a Super at some point.

did he ear something back from capita, about the boards he snapped?

I have the last cambered to the tail Kazu (I think it should be the same as the one Evan rode this year), it's scary light, even compared to my previous one

He just gets new boards regardless - it's not specifically about replacing the broken ones. That said, I'd hope it gets passed on to someone at the factory/etc.

Ordered! I forgot that I briefly had a Mercury at the beginning of last season, but it was very meh for me, and I sold it pretty quickly. High hopes for a different experience with this one.

BTW, what part of NC are you in?

Hell yeah, stoked to hear your thoughts on it once you’re able to ride it! I’ve had two Mercs that I sold after a few days as well. I really don’t get the hype for that board. Love the DOA though.

I’m in Wilmington! We built a house out here last year and moved in last December from CO. Currently in a cabin in the Marion area for the weekend checking out the Blue Ridge Mountains for the first time. Loving NC so far!

Nice! I grew up in in the Blue Ridge (small town called Waynesville), and we had a place on Oak Island that we spent a ton of time at in the Summer.
