Nitro Mountain 160 daily driver - love that thing...will probably add Fusion this year or maybe old Quiver Banker, need to replace old 2011 Charlie Slasher, different boards but yeah Charlie's about to retire

Banker will pair nicely with that Mtn, I think.

Banker is quite as pow-centric as old Charles was.

I am running the 160 MTN as well for a daily as well as a K2 instrument . I had a quiver fusion but sold it a year ago when I picked up the MTN and found them similar but prefer the MTN . I’m looking at adding the Dingy to be its sibling. Banker would be solid choice too.

How do you like the Mountain vs the Instrument? Those two were candidates a few years back for a new directional daily driver and I ended up with the Instrument 63. I like it a lot but swapped to the Capita Aeronaut 161 as a daily driver... love the way that board turns but that wider waist profile gives me some fierce foot fatigue after railing turns for 5-6 hours.

I can’t compare them apples to apples as I was sent the wrong size instrument. I ordered the 57 Peter Sutherland edition couple years back and the shop sent me a 154 and didn’t have a 57 in stock so they gave me a good discount so I kept the 54. (Waist width is similar being sized down 160MTN WW 25.6 154 Instrument WW 25.7)

But to compare them the MTN is more damp and feels like it foot steers better more torsional flex. Instrument has more pop and I agree will rip turns better and holds a better edge when it’s really icy but the MTN is no slouch either.

As for the base it’s mostly a draw there both really quick but the man made snow at my local hill seems to do a number on the nitro base so I will give it to K2 in that respect.

I was going to grab the alternator to replace my fusion but got a good EOS sale last year and grabbed the MTN and so far I am happy with it.

I am going to hang onto it for the season. If I do decide to sell I can let you know.

Awesome, definitely interested. Had the dog graphic one and sold it off when I should’ve kept it.

Baker is def tempting...i imagine those 3 boards ride relatively similar or let's say all perform good on groomers, fresh snow

Mountain is awesome and i don't really need or want another daily driver

And there's also Squash...Spenser made a great review few years ago, still haven't tried it yet

Getting all 4 is the most reasonable solution i believe..

Banker definitely has a little more drive to it than the MTN, little more torsional stiffness. never rode the Fusion to compare, but I got the impression that one was a little more freestylie.
