I can recommend Toko Express Racing Paste Wax https://www.skiwax.eu/toko-express-raci ... zpRivW8jF5 , works very well also in cold conditions and also lasts well.

i think @jota means what we would call rub-on wax when he says "cold wax", ie cold application wax, vs hot application wax (needing an iron), not temperature range for waxes
midwest is best

Yes, that's right. Thanks for the clarification. Rub-on wax. Sometimes I see it called cold wax instead of cold application wax and it can be confusing or I may have explained myself wrong. It's the wax for the third day when you need to wax and you can't use hot wax.

In my personal experience with cold application waxes, spray waxes are the worst to penetrate / stay on the base, rub-on second worst (depends how much time you spend on rubbing :) ), then comes liquid waxes and paste waxes are best, at least greasy ones. Paste waxes have most time to penetrate into base structure, but requires preferably at least +20°C temperature to apply.

For "emergency" situations I have also rub-on version of same Toko Express Wax in the car, as it can be applied also on colder base, than +20°C.

Btw, if you need wax for "cold application" but for warm weather, then my favorite will be mountainFLOW’s Quick Wax Warm: https://mountainflow.com/collections/ec ... 4351313057 . With this wax you can do similar thing as hot waxing and hot scrubbing in a hotel room. Put the wax, let it to dissolve dirt, wipe off, buff. Additionally it smells nice. ;)
