We already had 15 years of an opinionated hot-head who wasn't a good rider
He never called me fucking retarded, I feel I missed something from the real Easy Lounging experience
Do.... do you want me to?
Thanks for your willingness to help, but it wouldn't be the same

Current "active" quiver. Left out 4 that are nostalgic/savers and 2 shorties for sale.
Assuming I love the transmission, not sure what happens with the orbit. Not getting rid of it though. Would love it as a rock board because the cadet is a bit mellow for me, but don't want to hurt it much.

This seasonβs riders. Most bindings still stashed. I was doing a pretty good job of paring it down but somehow found the active quiver growing again. Oh well.

I can't compete with @ad1105 but here's the current status of my quiver. Behind the Kazu is the Jones ME I also picked up during the off season. Missing is my pow surfer, it's stashed in a bag and I only took this pic to show a buddy after bringing a few decks home from the tuning shop.
Am I crazy cross shopping a Korua Otto with the likes of the Gnu Banked Country, Lib Rig/Dynamo, or Salomon Super 8??? I'm not interested in K2 but the Instrument and Passport seem to fit in a similar category too. I actually really enjoy quiver of one boards, because then it helps me avoid the analysis paralysis of what board to ride lol. I like only bringing out any other quiver decks for specific days when I feel like riding them, or conditions are so good that they demand a pow specific board. And yeah, that's what the Kazu is for but I'm already thinking about replacements lol. I haven't ridden this one yet, but the last one I owned was one of the few boards in recent memory that I feel like I booted out on and that's a weird feeling in my size 8.5s. I'm hoping it was something else or a particular setup thing but I want a bit more width underfoot which is my main beef with the Mervin boards I mention up above and the main reason the Aeronaut isn't super high on my list.

Itβs not a competition, my dude. Iβll always love that 1st-year Kazu!

I actually didn't ride it at all last year, and rarely the year before so my memory is likely spotty... Comparing to the Moss PQ54 that I had earlier the Hornet A) clicked much more immediately, I never actually felt totally comfortable on the Moss, even after trying to adjust my riding to suit it, on multiple occasions. The Hornet is directional, wide, and tapered sure, but it wasn't hard adjusting to it. B) was just way more fun overall. The Moss felt like it only had one radius that it was happy making turns at whereas the Hornet was easier for me to manipulate into different turn shapes. This could all be read as "the Moss is more exotic so it needs more time, the Hornet doesn't ride like anything special" but I don't care when the Moss wasn't any fun and the Hornet was.
Let me get back to you once I get a few laps on it this season, I'm hoping to get out for some night carving sessions locally with a few other dorks.
