Hey there folks,
I have a ride splitpig and was planning on using union chargers, but the disks for the chargers do not line up with the channel inserts in the board. Can anyone confirm karakoram bindings would work? I reached out to karakoram and they can't say for sure.

my friend uses Karakorams on his K2 split. AFAIK, k2 and ride would use the same channel inserts

How much are we talking? I don't think the Karakoram holes are alot wider, but seems like there's a couple mm extra.

I have no idea if K2/Ride split channels are same as Burton's, but KKs work on Burtons.

Sidenote: I don't care for the channel on solidsone way or the other, but it makes setting up splits way less of a pain in the ass.

Splitting today with a friend who's new to it, and immediately noticed this when I stopped by his place. Don't worry, I fixed it. He has to readjust his unions now, because the interface shrunk when the halves came together...

probably not the end of the world, but just an FYI if it feels a little off in regards to the camber/sidecut when riding.

I had that same board as my first split. It was way more fun than I thought it was going to be and I wanted a solid version for my daily.

Considering switching up my mid clips from older KK 1.0 Ultraclips after having hardware back out early on a tour last season, leaving me with a wobbly connection on the down. Strongly considering the Phantom Hercules vs KK 2.0 Ultraclips. Using Union Charger bindings which already tighten the connection; any strong midclip endorsements? The lack of moving parts with the Phantom setup seems appealing, and lower profile look than Spark Fixie clips.
