I still just want angry to show his riding. At all. I maintain there's a good reason he hides it.
Maybe not wrong. There are a couple of clips of him (goofy foot) here

Just. Wow.

Yeah, that's the main bit I've seen. I swear I've seen one or two other little things as well.
I genuinely don't care what someone's skill level is. Everyone should be embraced wherever they're at. However, when you boast this persona and are probably the most popular reviewer, I feel like you should probably have some level of skill to back it up, simply to show that you can ride at all in the first place, in order to have any idea what you're talking about. These days, there's no excuse not to have a clip or two if you're doing review videos.
To be clear, I'm not looking for proof of potential skill. I'm looking for him to expose himself.
Absolutely, fun is fun no matter how good/bad you are and that’s all that matters…
But as you alluded to, if you’re putting out the kinda content and opinions he is, you need to be at a certain place skill wise to actually be giving a properly informed and subjective review.
I’ve always questioned his reviews because of the his telling you the conditions he rides in. Which is great transparency, but makes me question if he has ridden some of those pow decks on a legit pow day or what his idea of chunder is compared to mine.. Also, Colorado is flat AF.. so generally all boards ride well on 20° groomers.. lol

Not trying to give him too much airtime here, but another thing I've always found interesting is the way he ends up saying effectively the same things about every board, with minor tweaks to fit the models & their obvious design intent. Lots of common tag lines and phrases. Maybe that's how it ends up when you do a lot of reviews
it's just interesting. I don't get that feeling with others, like boardarchive or snowboard robot. I don't doubt that he rides all these products to some degree, but I don't think his skill is in riding, understanding/feeling boards, and conveying information - I think his skill is in fabricating his way into reviews that the masses eat up. Nonetheless, if it works, then it makes sense for companies to send him stuff. He gets people to buy things.
I'm so very ready to be proven wrong re: his riding ability, but I don't think that can/will happen
That said, one thing I'll give him is he doesn't like the orca

Lots of common tag lines and phrases.
“It does what it needs to do. It does snowboard things. Is it the greatest? No. Is it the worst? No. It’s for you to decide”
He skirts by with all of these intentionally neutral/generic takes so he doesn’t have anyone calling him out on bullshit reviews. I’d rather watch someone like Robot review a few popular boards in detail each season with riding footage over the hundreds of Angry’s lazy, mass produced takes on boards that he nervously side-slipped down A-basin for a run or two.

I am thinking about Stale Crewzer as a park/resort board.
I ordered the Freaker at the end. I like the shape and graphics much better than the Crewzer. Of course I might be biased after watching Rene ride that for couple of years
Let's see how I like it.
