I've been banging the drum for photochromic goggles for a few years now, but these seem like overkill?

I was surprised how well a pair of Adidas photochromic goggles worked for me. I used them only once because I prefer cyclandrical lenses (they're toric) but I would totally get photochromic goggles again
it's a bummer they don't make/sell goggles anymore, these were some of the highest quality goggles I've ever owned

Currently own the Julbo Skydome, and I'm very happy with them. S0-S4 photochromic, cylindrical lens, great optics and contrast-enhancing, no fogging or ventilation issues so far.

I can now say after 15 days of riding so far this season that I'm doing just fine without MFI.
I can say for sure I absolutely love the simplified and more practical color/tints of the Dang googles. Had one crazy stormy day and man the clear lenses rocked. Will be sticking with Dang.

For those looking for photochromatic lenses. Cool to support snowboarders.

The key is how fast they transition. Going from a run and ducking into the trees can get weird until they transition, and the temperature affects the time to transition.
