Mine is slipping out if I don’t over tighten them and even then. Got the size small on my medium Drives with Acerra 9US.
The Supergrip 2.0 doesn’t work with my Acerras either, it just slips right off every run. That’s why I snagged those Jones auxtech straps for my new Select Pros instead of going the Burton route.
If you swap bindings and turn them upside down, they work better. Silly but has always worked for me.

My Select Pros just showed up. Kinda meh on them at first glance, so hopefully the ride makes up for all my little qualms:
  • The highback has too much natural forward lean for my Acerras. Wish they were true zero forward lean so that my boot could sit all the way back into heel cup flush without using the straps to force it.
  • Hardware isn't long enough to bite on my Capita boards. Guess I'll have to do the ol' screw minus washer to get them started every time I wanna swap them... annoying.
  • Straps are hot garbage as expected. Stoked to get the Jones ones swapped over to them.
  • Ratchets seem kinda shitty (plastic… really?), no quick release tab on the toes.
  • General feel is kinda flimsy and unrefined compared to my Romes, Unions, and Burtons.
Probably just overthinking all these things, I need to go try them out.

Re: interesting to me how polarizing the lack of lean on Adidas boots is. Seen plenty of people complaint about the opposite, how they hate the lack of lean on the boots. I'm pretty agnostic, just means getting into my bindings is mildly more annoying.

They'll be fine once the bushings break in. One or two days on snow. If you ever swap the bushings, you'll face the same issue.

This is fair. My suspicion is because the Hanger is more complicated to manufacture and assemble than a traditional baseplate binding, they cut costs elsewhere to stay price competitive. If you can believe it, they've gotten substantially better in the past ~5 years. The straps on the 2017 Pilots I picked up were GARBAGE.

The toe ratchets are better, but still nowhere near class-leading. I think I've replaced like four or five floppy toe ratchets in 6 years lol. If you run into issues, ask warranty for the newer carbon ratchets... those seem to hold up much better.

Yeah, they’re gonna need to ride really well for me to keep them. Plastic ratchets… really? At least they came with the high cup thingies and all the options for bushings. I’ll put them up here for a killer deal if I don’t like them haha.

Dibs lol. I am trying to stockpile a second H3 binding and have the extra parts to make them workable haha.

I had some of the same initial thoughts about the feel of the bindings, compared to what I was used to. Not the buckles as they were drives, but still thought they were kinda weird. I swapped my burtons onto that initial borrowed pair, so never actually tried the stock straps.

But like I've said, I forced myself to just set them up and try it out, and we all know how that went. Every single day has been great, two full years in. I will say again, though, the lack of adjustment could be lame for certain people. I'm lucky that I fit them perfectly, and can just run the disks for stance width adjustment.

I don't not like the brand, but it doesn't "do" anything for me - whereas I'm into Airblaster, US, etc - but man, I sure was ready to fully commit to NOW after my very first run. Your mileage may vary, of course.

I'm lucky as well, SZ 10 DC boots and my boards have a width that I'm prefect with NOWs.

I do slide my disc all the way to the back but that lines me up perfect.

I got another set of Malavita Leather straps and threw them on the Cartels with Malavita high backs, when this fucked up weather disappears from the PNW I'll give them a shot!

@eleveneightnate curious to hear your thoughts on the Select Pros when you get some time on them. Considering the Team ones, but on the fence still.
