10 days in so far this season, and I might get my first day on natural snow this weekend 🥶

10" this morning, probably 6" during the day, 6 tonight, 6 tomorrow, 6 tomorrow night, and temps are very safe.

Well... that didn't pan out. At some point overnight we had a freezing mist/snow, so there was a crust today… on top of about 12" of perfect snow. Super weird. Turning was not exactly ideal, but going straight was difficult. If your nose dipped below the crust, the sheets constantly jabbed above the boot, and it hurt. I'll probably have actual bruises 😂 Rest of the afternoon, tonight, and tomorrow are looking really good though.

Blunt diamond 56 & hammerhead 71

12-18" day.. no crust!

Edit: with the depth, layers, and relentless snowfall, even doing avy control since first light, they weren't able to mitigate enough risk to safely open today. That means we will have a whole foot more on top of this for Wednesday when they reopen. Sun comes out tomorrow, so hopefully it will settle enough for things to work out by then. Either way, extremely good for our snow pack overall.

Anyone want to go in on a premium group account? $30 a year for one person, $50 a year for 6.
