Which is in Europe 😜

I wouldn't consider US shapes to be a super niche vibe or anything, but not just anyone seems to fit on their team. I think Fredi works, coming from where he'd been at riding-wise on Lib & Holden. Stoked to see the boards they come out with in the future - always hoping for something shaped more in the cadet realm, but built like the beefy orbit. Still my dream board.

Didn't see this coming. Looks like US is putting together a ripping team... back-end-of-career Euro rippers.

Swiss Knife was a fun looking shape and one of the decks that most intrigued me out of the Lib line. Curious to see what he brings to table.

So without knowing any board specs yet, anybody plan on getting one of the limited release boards that US teased on their insta today?

I'll hold out for a straight-up orbit cut with cadet tip & tail kick shapes, but pretty curious to see what the new cadet is. I think I originally heard it from somebody in a YouTube comment who had talked to Gray, but apparently they may have been integrating aspects of each board into the new design? No idea how true or not that is, but promising.

I’m US curious. They have not been easy to find in Europe. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one on the hill or in a store but the new team suggests the Euro market might be a priority now. The Cadet shape looks nice and has me interested. I rode my friend’s Alek Ostreng Ravine and it was a lot of fun but the profile was not really for me. I’ve ridden a bunch of Koruas and they are wonderful to turn but pretty useless for much else. If Ostreng has been part of the design process then hopefully he brings some vibes from those previous boards and it has some turniness with a bit of freestyle enthusiasm in there too.

And a black base.

Of all places, I got the Covert split from a shop in Finland 2 years ago. 😅
But yeah that was the only one I found in EU then. The distributor in NL was all out.

I checked out the Cadet and Pioneer a few times at Easy Rider, but never wound up buying one. Even once they went on sale. I always wanted a bit less sidecut and a bit more edge, if they're bringing some Orbit flavour to something like either of the above I'm definitely getting interested.
