Jones already has a 32 boot…although I guess that’s Jeremy's and not Jones Snowboards

the Union kid’s boot has just been a re-logo’d Deeluxe, I wonder if they’ll be working with them on boot design. they’ve also distro’d together, and had some team rider crossover with Brisse & TJ in the past, and Backstrom now.

Union has a guy on staff that has been designing bindings the last few years, but he was previously a boot designer with Northwave. Make of that what you will.

That Nidecker & Jones partnership must be extremely lucrative bc they seem to be able to finance a lot of shit since then. Not to say Yes and Now weren't. But its pretty surprising how quickly they went from weird little euro brand to gobbling up all these brands and merging shit together.

I'm also consistently gobsmacked at how many kids seem to love and support Bataleon. *mind blown space gif*

I've always considered 32 basically soft, crap material, 1 season boots. But they were pretty 'core' so I didn't hate. But it'll be interesting to see what shakes out.

Onion boots will be cool. Hopefully.

You're probably right about jones helping but nidecker was always pretty big in Europe.

it is kind of cool that they came from skiing and have pretty much switched over to just doing snowboards now (as far as I can tell. if they still make skis, still, it's on the downlow).
