I updated my original post about the new boots, but before the thread was deleted on the group (I believe...), another user posted:

The Waverange X Pro does NOT replace Photon, you should be thinking Step ON SLX or Supreme.

When I was updating the website this morning we lost about an hours worth of posts.

Boots look a bit expensive, guessing 700-800? Might be warranted, but kinda worried they will set a new standard for pricing for regular boots too. Nice gear anyways.

Might be stepping on this sooner that later. Getting older with stiff muscles, bad joints and gaut isn't making it better(attacks all my joints)
Not really wanting to give up on regular bindings and Adidas boots, yet.

Yeah... total bummer with high end MSRPs being $550 to $650 already... That being said, if the wrap liner and boot shell are better (god I hope so) and I can get two seasons out of a pair then it's on net its cheaper for me. I've been going through a pair of Ions a season at this point.

If the boots work for you, by all means go for it. If not, don't try to force it. You can always get a pair of Supermatic or FASE bindings next season if that's the case.

Yeah, @HasanPoland posted a screen grab of the catalog with those but then deleted it. They’re Fase but with a new non-SkateTech composite baseplate instead of the Bataleon/Rome metal ones we’ve seen retrofitted.

Yeah, @HasanPoland posted a screen grab of the catalog with those but then deleted it. They’re Fase but with a new non-SkateTech composite baseplate instead of the Bataleon/Rome metal ones we’ve seen retrofitted.

If they have the same tall ass heel cup like the regular Jones/NOW, I will be getting a set for sure.
