Snowboard trader?
Often seems like a PITA... I think it's a facebook thing, somehow. I can try messaging an admin if you link me your profile?eleveneightnate wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 8:32 pmIf I could get in! Don’t they have a secret handshake or something?
This is why I did not respond to you. Also, did you notice I added "is the only problem"? Guess why? Hint - may have something to do with your post. Giving any step on advice is defensive because someone did not like them? I am not surprised actually, similar had happened also with other new and different stuff, for example fat bikes ~10 years agoeleveneightnate wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 4:23 pmIf you’re responding to me, I wrote a whole wall of text after that sentence with other reasons why I didn’t like them. You StepOn bros are gettin all defensive with your eye roll emojis and sass anytime someone doesn’t like them haha.
I think I'm in all the others, but also not the biggest cool guy group. I believe my results are more that my FB profile isn't in my name, so I probably look a bit sketch, but I don't want to give FB access to my personal info... so, Idk, what do I say to them... I'm a good dood, really, trust me bro?eleveneightnate wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 8:32 pmIf I could get in! Don’t they have a secret handshake or something?
The swath had the same liners as the photons, so i don't think it's a case of this B boot or that B boot. Maybe. But most boots just don't jive well with my feet. I grabbed a pair of vans verse over summer too and had to offload them due to discomfort. I don't think if anyone looked at my feet they'd think they were so very odd, though if anyone does want to take a peek...head over to my OF and use the code word 'glitternipples' for 1/2 off... but most higher end boots tend to have some very specific padding or cupping in the heels and somehow it's always wrong for me. Idk if my ankles are weirdly placed, or protrude more than most, or if it's that I'm 1/5 grey alien reject, but I've not found many viable options.jota wrote: ↑Thu Dec 12, 2024 12:36 pm @C.Fuzzy the heel problem even with the j-bars on, has always been my problem with B boots. that's why i'm happy with the infuse because they have a perfect fit for me. that's why i took so long to give in to the intrigue of SO and that's why i already have my infuse liner ready for the Swath that i've been waiting for two months. also according to @jsil the swath have a different fit than the other B boots...
I prob like my boots 3/10 for stiffness where I ride (east coast). Lots of ankle mobility, feels like I'm surfing. I imagine it'd be difficult for a myriad of reasons to make a soft step on boot, just like it's not possible to make soft ski boots.
Yeah, if I wasn't on a big mountain I could see that being more attractive. I'm a big fan of snowsurf style and I can still do that with my stiff setup, but I'm sure it would feel better softer.benjinyc wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 9:18 amI prob like my boots 3/10 for stiffness where I ride (east coast).
