I've talked to a few people (online and in person) who swear by it out here in Utah and also the PNW (soo essentially wet snow and dry snow). Yes, it seems to good to be true, but I spoke with the owner and he said to give it a shot and he would refund me if I wasn't satisfied.

He said that the majority of his customers are shops in the PNW, but he said that he has had very few people take him up on his guarantee.

You essentially clean the base, dry rub the applicator over the base, and brush in or use a rotobrush to speed up the process. He said it's good for 3 to 7 days depending on the conditions...

As someone who rarely waxes (in Utah), it has to be a big step up from that. Hard to believe that it could be as good or better than a hot wax, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
No idea about this stuff…

But I have all my decks done with Phantom and it is the real deal. I am always faster than the homies and always catch and pass them in the flats. When you wax over the top of it you’re stupid fast.

interesting product for sure. You can tell it was designed by a skier as everything from the name to logos is so generic.
Let us know how it rides.

From the website I learned that to wax a board I need the following'
Ski Technician
Bench
Clamps
Wax
Iron
ScraperBrushes

dude, if you're waxing with Hertel, the speed you're feeling is only the Hertel. it coats the base and there is no Phantom popping up anywhere. Once the Hertel partially wears off you'll feel the mix. But I get the feeling you stay on top of your shit with wax and wouldn't be riding 6 day old Hertel (for super hotsauce or 7 day old Racing)

Truth, but the difference is with Phantom at the end of the day or with wild temperature swings, the is no decline in performance. But yes, I’m on top of it with my resort decks.

I can say though I never wax my splitboard, to keep wax out of my skin glue, and I do always make it out of the flats that others get stuck in, enough that I have had split partners ask why my shit glides so much better than their splits.

I need to order more hertel. Almost out of wax other than black graphite stuff, which I don't want to use on korua's nice red bases 😜

It seems like all y'all are loving the Hertel, maybe I should try it.

Here in the PNW, I have mostly been using Uncle Stanky's wax (no longer available), which is fast on the flats but a pain to scrape, or Booger Red's wax, which is all around great but doesn't smell, which I find a bit odd when I'm waxing!

It's the best all around wax I've ever used, and it's super easy tp scrape.

Why did I never think of Phantom for splits... yo! fukkn wax on the skins is at least 50% of how they go to shit.

yeah, might have to Phantom on the split.

I’m about 1/50th of my way through a One Mfg Bio brick, and then I usually score a supplemental Jones freebie wax or two every season, so i’m pretty set for a bit. not sure who makes the Jones, but it’s a pretty solid one, too. still have a bit of Bluebird cold I bust out on the edges on super bricked over days.

edit: looks like it’s Wend making the Jones, who i’ve heard excellent things about from some wax tech friends.

i have been using Rex yellow when im lazy and want a easy scrape and blue for most conditions. when its realy cold and aggressive snow i use green but its a pain to scrape and the "dust" when brushing goes everywhere xD
i miss the low fluor variants though.
