I wouldn't use that much wax in 100 years, mostly because I am lazy.

Terry is getting into his mid 80s and AFAIK hasn’t been able to sell Hertel so I’m just stocking up, but yeah, I do wax pretty frequently, but even then this will carry me for quite some time.

10 years back I got a case of Toko shop wax. Maybe 5lbs worth? Not perfectly sure. But I still have a bit of it left even after waxing more than only my boards with it.

That looks a bit over 16lbs of Hertels.

I reckon that would probably last me more than 30 years.

I'm doubtful I'll last another 30 years.

20 bricks of OG, 2 Bricks of Racing 739, and two blocks of hardener for super cold days.

Anyone ever tried spray-on wax like these?

https://www.amazon.com/Toko-Universal-R ... 0143ZPQ3S/

https://dynamicwax.com/products/dynamic-wax

When I travel to ride, there's usually 1 or 2 days at the end, where my board is in need of waxing, but sometimes I don't get the chance to take the board to a shop for a hot wax. I have my own waxing kit at home, but I avoid packing it for 8-day trips because of weight limits. So I'm looking at options that are lighter and easier to carry in my board bag, to get me through the final day or two in my trips.

I've tried rub-on wax, but I'm not really a fan. Never tried liquid wax, but at that point, I think spray-on might be a slightly better, quicker version of liquid, no?

Hertel rub on is ridiculously good. Last year at Baldface a guide came out with a brand new deck on day one that was slow as snot. I let him use it and he said it was the best rub on he’s ever tried, let him keep it. I always travel with it.

I didn't know Hertel had one. Hertel Hot Sauce is my go-to wax, so this is great.

My main issue with rub on wax is that it seems to last for 2 runs, and then I have to re-apply. Since you're recommending this, I assume it lasts the full day?
