HARDGOODS 25/26
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
I really want to try these. Probably going to cost an arm and a leg. I heard 699e somewhere.

Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
I guess 1000 for the FC and 700 for the Pro.
Re: HARDGOODS 25/26
Got to demo the Source FC. They’re insanely light, responsive, and low to the board but have practically zero shock/dampening. Weight weenies will be stoked, probably. The soles of my feet got a bit achey after a while, but I generally didn’t think about them while riding. Comfy enough. Price tag is ridiculous, as previously stated. I think I’d probably like the Source Pro more and may try to get my hands on a set of the polycarbonate highbacks at some point to fuck around with on another Frank. Not entirely sure if they’ll work with other heel loops because the new FC heel loop seemed way skinnier and streamlined than those of other models.
I still prefer the burlier Atlas Pro (or any of my Franks, which all have the Atlas baseplate). Think I’ll grab a pair of the ‘26 Kazus if the budget allows, but keeping my fingers crossed for a pair of the dragon highback Kazus from last season.

a bit of taper, a lot of camber

Interesting conncept, but talking only about lightness, for me is not desirable so much lightness.bagis wrote: Mon Apr 07, 2025 1:35 pm I really want to try these. Probably going to cost an arm and a leg. I heard 699e somewhere.
I understand for the freestyle guys it should be a dream, having a really lightweight board, and bindings too.
Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to ride the Kazu 51 2023 and this year 54, but having them in hands, comparing them to my main ride (2019 Kazu 51) they feel too light, it scares me a little bit.
Skidding turns since 2011 - Capita & Salomon boards, Jones Mercury bindings, Salomon boots

Yeah same, here, I tested the Source FC and the Source Pro on a Mega Death, it was incredible!!ad1105 wrote: Got to demo the Source FC. I almost preferred the Source Pro that I found a little more comfortable and barely heavier, given the price difference, I will lean more towards a Source Pro too.
I currently use on an Atlas BM for everyday and Ultra in park, I don't think I'll change immediately.
On the other hand, if I can make a good purchase at a good price, I will not deprive myself of it...
As they are made in Italy, I won't be far away to get a pair at the best price.

The same! For "daily" ride at this moment I use Kazu Pro 160 and Atlas Pro.J0_Zehp wrote: Tue Apr 08, 2025 7:48 amYeah same, here, I tested the Source FC and the Source Pro on a Mega Death, it was incredible!!ad1105 wrote: Got to demo the Source FC. But for next season I ordered Atlases Pro Kazu Pro

I'm hoping future iterations will have a bit more negative angles for the back foot. if they at least had -6º I would be down to try them... but only -3º is not enough for me.HasanPoland wrote: Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:43 am I tested the Source FC and the Source Pro on a Mega Death, it was incredible!!
