I picked one up looking for a turnier, pow-capable board for tighter areas like glades/trees, while still holding it down elsewhere. The 21.5mm of taper and tighter sidecut radius was something that I thought I might like… and I do! I’ve only spent a couple of days in mixed conditions on the 157 so far. It’s a solid freeride flex in both axes, with the tail being surprisingly stiffer than expected.

I may try a different set of bindings on it the next time as I had some foot fatigue after all day in firm conditions. I have been spoiled riding an Amplid Surfari as my typical daily with its dampening tech -- but that has a 9.1m sidecut, and hence giving the Aecre a go.

Nice man, I thought someone here would have one. Sounds right up my alley. I’ll report back when I get one!
