Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Long time reader but new poster here.
I love my Mullair early release. Just wrote it last weekend in Austria. To get a newer one I look at ebay. But it is hard to find one. I think the Lib Dynamo could replace it because I’m a little bit afraid of the ProMag at the BC.
I’m curious about your thoughts about the BC in comparison to the Mullair.

BC is the most like Mullair. Why are you afraid of pro mag?
Rig & dynamo could be easy replacements too.

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Maybe the feel of too heavy backfood locked in feel. But these are just thoughts on paper. I did not had a chance this year to try out the BC at the Glacier Opening in Hintertux, Austria.
But I didn’t know that the ProMag is even less than the normal Mag!
Im my nerd way I compare all the data between my 2016 Mullair with the BC and the Dynamo. The BC is closer except it has the ProMag. The Dynamo especially the new one with the new shape also except of the waist with. It is much wider with 255 on a 156 in comparison to my Mullair with 248 on a 155. I have only 8.5s.
I want to pick right and don’t want to sell it. My wife kills me otherwise

@Jean77. Thank you very much! Crazy that you find! Unfortunately I need a 155. But thanks man. If it would be a 155 it would be my call. Especially in this goid condition.

If it's in Europe I can find itWoodCarver wrote: Mon Dec 16, 2024 11:29 pm @Jean77. Thank you very much! Crazy that you find! Unfortunately I need a 155. But thanks man. If it would be a 155 it would be my call. Especially in this goid condition.

What are your "specs"? I'm 178cm, weight +-70kg and have 8.5 boot size(Deeluxe/Vans) and I ride the Mullair 159.

Banked Country is super fast and smooth, like the Mullair. I've ridden the Dynamo and it is not in the same league, despite the superficial similarities.
Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
Felt the same, BC is more likewise to the Mullair. It's the ideal replacement to the Mullair. The dynamo is softer, TNT base aswel. Not in the same league as you mentioned.Kevington wrote: Tue Dec 17, 2024 12:48 am Banked Country is super fast and smooth, like the Mullair. Love(d) the Mullair tho, still my all-time favourite. Luckely I have some spares.

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
You guys are great! Thank you for your intel about the BC rides and the similarities to the Mullair.
Based on that, I think I will go to the BC instead of the Dynamo.
@Jean77: My specs are similar to yours. 176 cm hight, 72 kg weight and 8.5 food size (8 at Adidas). For me personally I prefer the 155 instead of the 159. I love the agility here. The stability is also sufficient. Especially the early release Mullair and the first one I think 2016 official modell are my favorites with the 2” setback.

Re: The Official Mervin Manufacturing Thread
I’m located in Germany and go ride mostly in Hintertux, Austria or Pitztal, Austria. Last weekend I had a blast on the Mullair at the first season run. Right after condola. Full send. Unfortunately I hit a litte rock after a powder jump. My fault. It was just too less snow. But it every time same. Luckily it was not crazy. Just a little scratch. But when you know this board is not available anymore it is a little scary. Just after the hit I directly strapped off to look at it.
