The Jones and 32 bindings look to have the same baseplate. So either there is a new skate-tech baseplate that also has the Fase step-in thing, or Jones bindings are no longer with skate-tech. I'm hoping the former, not because I'm particularly interested in the Fase part but a new baseplate might get me back on skate-tech bindings. Love the skate-tech but the lateral stiffness is tough on my knees.
My source says the trays/frames of the 32/Jones binding will be the same, different highbacks/straps, no Skate-Tech

this is gonna be an interesting era of bindings.
The Fast Entry wars have begun for sure. Half the industry is headed to Step-On, the other half is Team Straps. It'll be interesting to see if Nidecker licenses FASE outside of it's own ecosystem like with Supermatic or not. Or if K2 picks a side they didn't create themselves.

No, they are different colours for each size. (Aeronaut)
Yep, with my favorite base graphic yet (Aeronaut).

The Indoor has a white nose and black tail, but also has a pretty big graphic (between the bindings and extends onto the tail).
How's the Kazu look? Know it's a black/white color scheme with a raven as the animal graphic, but haven't seen photos yet.

It’s the plan opening the Fase license to any bindings brand

Very similar aesthetic to this year's. You described the graphic well. The topsheet is black, the raven is white and is in between the inserts. The capita wordmark graphic (vertical) is on the nose (above the inserts). The base is black, includes the raven/talons, but also some really nice, poppy colors. Even though the graphic story and aesthetic is similar to this year, I like next year's better for sure.

If you watch the BH Mothership tour, Chris and Blue walk down a hall together and walk by the Kazu and the Slush Slasher sitting on rolling racks on the right side (I had to pause it @11min10sec)
Looks like SS is going back to the OG White, with pink, and the snapped bone graphic.

Thinking that's a viking skull on the second photo. Torstein?

Nah, it's a "new" board called the Dark Horse. It's replacing another board in the line.

Nice, thanks. Thinking about flipping back over to the Kazu next season, so just curious. New design looks like it'll pair well with some Asadachi Atlas', put it on the list.
