The Nug I've been goofin around on this year is a Flying V and it's been fun through the park and stable for me on landings or when pointing it. But some folks don't like the C2 type of camber, but it's all good in my book. I've not found a camber profile that I couldn't have fun on and learn to make work for me.

the antler always looked so good but the FV turned me off. after giving C2 a solid shot, I'd probably love an antler. I don't think I could ride C2 every day, but its fun on soft groomers and slush, probably in deep stuff, too. not my favorite on brick days.

I have had 3 antlers, 1 regular, 2 FV, one has the smiley faces the other two have femurs. Solid board. I loved it when I had it, I would advise staying away from the Flying V variant unless you want no control. There are better options out there now like the freethinker or such in my opinion.. which one were you specifically looking at? It’s not as light as boards nowadays that’s for certain as well but you’ll be able to handle all terrain with it. Although keep in mind it’s a directional so switch is not too friendly with it

Does anyone have a glance at the Burton slx next year? Saw posts that they are going with mint green? Yikes
Saw some dudes wearing a few new softgoods that are coming out next year and not digging the new yellow colors on the clothing
The moonrise this year has grown on me a lot
How about you all?

great!!, thanks for answering. I have a quiver of 13 boards and I no longer use hard cambers and hard boards... now by chance I found this antler second-hand. I tried it years ago and I was always sorry I didn't buy it,..

this is FV, the one with the femur... I don't like the graphics... but I'm interested in a resort for silly days, like something soft, playful and very light... (for backcountry and to go fast, I already have it)... so when I saw this one, my eyes also went to name dropper, DOA wide... new... But that antler seemed interesting to me.

for me the weight is important, playful and soft and if you tell me that today anyone is lighter... and also FV... I have the sherlock... it is rough, very good but you know that the tail is always a bit loose... that's why I thought of antler because it was softer.. lighter, . friendly… or so I thought
but perhaps today it is an old and obsolete board and it’s better look at other new and playful boards

I have the FV femur Antler. It is exactly what you are describing...light, fast, playful, and a lot of pop for a FV model. Edge hold is on par with pretty much all Burton FV models, so its decent enough but not great. My only complaint about the board was I wish it was a bit wider.

Anyone know the main differences between the Japan guide and Tusk hi top pant?

They seem so damn similar so trying to understand if there’s any difference other than branding on the pant.

The Tusk has a mesh stretchy woven upper. Lighter, breathable, more flexible. Does that mean it's less durable than the Japan ?

I have a dakine bib with similar stretch upper that is really comfy. What's nice about having a mesh upper is that you can wear them under a sweater or long sleeve tshrirt comfortable if you aren't wearing a outer shell jacket
