The snow’s finally been good here. I’ve been looking forward to giving these the side-by-side speed test.

Stopped by my old local shop while in town, owner gave me a crazy deal on the Iguchi casual jacket. It’s like everything you wish you had on a Carhartt Detroit jacket (water resistant, very good insulation, better sleeve cuffs, waist cinch) and missing the things you like about a Detroit jacket (heavy duck canvas) haha. We were in single digits in the morning and it kept me pretty warm. Also found my old Road Soda in the back. I’m tempted to ride it this spring, I haven’t been on a fully rockered deck in over ten years probably.

Went to pick up Thai food and ended up bringing home a snowboard. I feel like I’m not the only one here who could end up in a similar situation.

What's up with the tail? Just for fun?

I found the spec sheet on their kickstarter after riding it over the weekend. The base sticker had been removed and their website doesn’t list it. I had zero expectations but overall I’m happy with it. It’s soft, which will be nice for dorking around in the slush over the next few weeks.
I think the tail is just for fun, I would be interested to know if anyone else has some insight.

seems to just be a mellow step-tail to give the tail a little less surface area for powder, while still being true twin spec-wise contact point to contact point.
