Gotta say, the ratchets on my original Bent Metal straps? Much better than Rome's. You can feed the ladders way easier, and it's a lot faster to release with BM's bigger tab on the ratchet.jclinares wrote: Fri Dec 06, 2024 8:36 pm Happy to report that the Rome Progrip straps were successfully Frankensteined into my Bent Metal Cor-Pros without issue.
Gonna be a while until I can test them, but my hope is that they'll solve the issues I have with the toe strap sliding off mid-run.

This would necessitate two different boots also, yea?dpartridge7 wrote: Fri Feb 21, 2025 7:44 pm interesting bindings setup for the second-place pro legend men's, mark fawcett. atlas on the front foot and union step-on on the back. have seen something similar with some of the japanese free-cravers, mixing up the binding models when comparing the front binding to the back. also harry kearney won pro men's on jones FASE bindings.

Seems like a lot.
the StratAtlas's were pretty nice last night, first time out on a Strata baseplate in a bit, I had forgotten how much I like the lateral movement those provide. these essentially felt like a mellower version of the Ultra FC's I run on my Annex (Strata base with firmer padding + full forged carbon highbacks): a forgiving feel tip to tail, and just a touch more drive toe-heel than the standard Strata.coleslawed wrote: Tue Feb 18, 2025 12:09 pm been wanting to try the Strata’s out on my Kwon, but also intrigued by the Beyond Medals' Atlas/Strata custom house combo from a few years ago.

looking forward to trying these both when it’s not -12 outside.
or just bust out the Dremel for the toe cleats, and pop the screw for the heel cleat off the back
