I saw that recently, but it seems like it's based on something being broken. Also, have to pick between one of the two dials. Are you seeing something different?
The “photo of your broken gear” thing is optional. I just answered the questionnaire and put two separate orders in for both the upper and lower BOAs. They ship everything in pairs, and they shipped it all together, so now I have the 4 dials and 4 cables needed to repair anything on either boot.

The one thing is I need a little more heel bite, so probably going to order a couple more sets from tognar, but that's typical for me.
Thanks for mentioning tognar. I ordered a pair of their ankle wraps and they fill the gaps in my Acerra liners perfectly. No more heel lift.

Nice. Almost got that shape, but went with the C shape & the square sheet for custom stuff if needed. Amazing what you can do for a boot with a little foam.
In other news, found I can use my stiffeners behind the tongue of the DCs. It felt weird in my ions, but these seem fine. They aren't too soft, but the out-of-box flex definitely went away quickly. If they stay here, no problem, but nice to know I still have my trusty backup plan.

Riding transcends with tongue stiffeners today. Support feels perfect, which tells me the stock boot does get too soft for me as soon as you break them in the first couple days. This may mean it could be worth looking into getting a pair of the t-rice, which was rated 9 instead of 8. These felt like an 8 right at first, but now they're a 6-7 ish in stock form
Also to note - it's not just that they make the boot a bit more supportive, it's the way they do it. You still have that first little bit of movement like you do without them (keep the "freedom" you're used to), but as soon as you push into them, and the more you do, the more the stiffener wants to push back - it brings a new dimension of life to a boot, both acting like a return spring, and creating what I'd call a progressive flex. It makes me feel like I have a slight bionic edge over the ankles/legs my parents gave me. They've been game changers since I started using them in 2017.. extended my ions preferred flex range from maybe 1/2 season to over 2 years.

I'm starting a snowboard blog to stay sane and involved while on the sidelines.
Still setting up the website, but my first draft post is a
boot fit guide. Would love your beautiful nerd eyeballs on it.

Damn, it was hard to find a picture. They came with the driver x for a while, years ago - sure glad I snagged a pair when they existed. I have my gear at work, so here's a better picture than on Google..
Also emailed Decathlon to see if they'd ship to the us. I think a lot of people could find great use with these. I'd be devastated if I lost mine
I certainly have 300+ days on these.

I didn't know that tongue stiffener existed either. Does it help with keeping the form of the upper. I have a pair of boots that my ankle strap squashes the boot. The sides of the upper are just not stiff enough. Wondering if those might help.
