anyone tested the new Flux CV?
I did. The best from the Flux line. I could feel the ankle strap sitting higher. Still zero dampening though.
My joints hurt every time I see the word Flux.

That was my experience in 2011 when I tried them. SF45 and something 30, can’t remember. However, I’m STILL using those two sets of ankle straps today. Burton hammock is the only other I’ve found that I like as much, but there’s a certain slightly elevated wrap & security I feel from the flux.

Flux’s straps have been on point for minute.
I think they’ve added some padding to a few models this year.

Still intrigued by the new Union Ultra... Gigi is ripping the hell out of them on huge lines per usual. Check out the baseplate/footbed flex @ 1:10... have never seen anything that squishy.

few pics, in comparison with Forces:
toe strap:

as you can see, if the toe strap is placed on top of the boot, it seems to lock the boot secure in place
Thanks for the pics - they saved me couple of hundred bucks. Hope it will work for you, but to me these look one size up for a bindings. It reminds me a whole season I was riding in Malavitas in size M, which was not a pleasant experience. Anyway I ordered a set of Katanas for my Squash 159 to see if they bring an end to my Burton bindings obsession.

no problem.
Let's see if they work for me.
If not, I'll sell them and maybe wait for a Drive/Mercury size S, if they'll do a H3 size S in the future
or maybe find a used old Drive H2 size S, but I didn't find anything online
