Looks sick. SCR little big for my tastes, but doesn't matter as much for a split. But I am probably going into touring semi-hiberation for a few years so can't justify something I can't get on mega steal pricing haha.
Yeah, 9.6 is a bit larger than I want even on a split, but I wouldn't want the 57.

Specs/shape/profile wise, my squash 63 is pretty much perfect.

Haha, I was eyeballing the Hometown Hero X but... well established I destroy shit and I'm just sketched out on carbon / mystery construction. Riding around on the Transition Finder Plus, I found myself terrified I was going to snap it haha (especially on a relatively undersized board).

I ended up just pulling the trigger on the Hometown Hero. Hard price to say no to, and I'm not attached enough to the prospect of riding non-Sparks to care about lack of binding optionality.

Oh just saw your previous post, Karakorams work on all burton boards

Ah, I could have sworn Karakoram wasn't compatible with the Burton Channels. Maybe that's only Union? I was thinking only Sparks / Voiles offshoots on the Channels.

They've always worked with the channels on Burton (along with the channels on k2 and voile) - the older Burton splitboards required you to file down the Karakoram screws but any Burton splitboard from 4 seasons ago and newer will work just fine.

Karakoram also has a Quiver Connectors for Burton boards they introduced this year, maybe that's what you were referring to?

The 57 rides like at 62. Literally. The Escalator 57 has 120cm of EE, Squash 63 has 121cm EE. I’ve been on the TF 57 split for four years and never once have I wished it was bigger, and I weigh a bit more than you, probably like 20lbs more.

And I want the 62 because it rides bigger than a 62 😜

57 would work well, but I wouldn't seek out and spend $ on one unless it was the 62

What's your weight?
