Don't have a real read on how "Uprise Fenders" differ from TBT or "Spoontech".
While there are variants/degrees of TBT, essentially the difference is its 3D shaping runs through a lot more of the board, and deeper in from the edges. With spoon/etc, it’s typically just at the contact points along the edge, or in some cases only past them (on the tips), not coinciding with the natural effective edge.
Flat basing & in general, the TBT styles have a much looser ride IMO. The word that always came to mind for me was “saucer.” With the latter, spoon/etc mainly just gave a smooth/more vague “roll” feeling where the contacts engaged, or makes them “catch free,” but the board itself didn’t make me think “saucer.”
Personally, I don’t like any of it. Simply prefer a traditional flat base on a full camber board.

It seems fun for buttering and... not much else. I think I'd be more inclined to snag one if the contact points weren't lifted and instead just had 3D shaping past that.
i had a whitegold with tbt when bataleon was making them. it was a directional twin (whatever that means). cant remember the model name. tbt both sides like the diagram spencer posted.
anyways, i thought it was fun... in low angle terrain. rolls over and engages way later than expected but will engage. its a unique feeling and somewhat enjoyable. wouldnt want to go super fast on the one i had. it was great for pushing up a bank or wall then whipping back around the other way. i can imagine that they could be good in a half pipe or park.
if you wait they can usually be had like 40% off or more at the end of the season.

Y'all triflin', I love my endeavors and my leader board's spoony tips stylee
Those are very different than what bataleon does (see diagrams). TBT is very pronounced and runs through & deeper into a lot more of the board. It really is like a saucer, while typical spoon shaping (Jones, Burton, etc) is definitely not.
Had a cameltoe. Felt unpredictable on hard or choppy snow and late day moguls.
The float feeling was nothing to write home about either.
Sold if after a couple of weeks and never tried tbt again.
Saucers suck for snowshredding. ;p
3BT sucks and so do the surfer and party waves. I've tried them a few different times def not the boards for me. If you want to get weird get a korua Uberegg or pocket rocket. Bataleons are like Denver just really well marketed anyone who wants to shred a lot shouldn't live in Denver and anyone that actually wants a board that rips shouldn't get a bataleon.
