yoo the 3rd photo down looks suspiciously like a doubletapped Vans Verse boot! I would certainly hit that! (Though the Iguchi's are what I really want.)
Oh here they are. Based on the laced Sam Taxwood's… Lottery sale in November. Ah well.

pretty sure the Baldface was another colorway of the Taxwood boot, maybe with leather vs rubber accents.
This is correct.
Chatter about wider forefoot and lower profile on Infuse has me intrigued. Last Vand I tried on was about 4 years ago and as typical, too narrow, had to size up, and large boot profile.
Separately I picked up a pair of skate slip ons to pop into while skating. Narrow AF. I'm able to make them work because I slipped in much lower profile than the stock footbeds, but JFC damn narrow for me. Apparently Vans makes "wide" slip-ons, but only for custom builds through their website.

Were they the pro model or the new skate?

Skate version. From what I could gather, Skate replaced the older Pro model. At least when I search for "Slip On Pro" on the Vans website, it returns the Skate.

Skate slip ons are definitely narrow/tight. Skate old skools in same size have a lot more room.
Infuse are worth a shot if you have a wide forefoot. Feel more accommodating than several "wide" boots in the same size.

I have a pair of BMX slips I picked up for biking and I was surprised I was able to get into them in my true size (10.5), while I usually go up to 11 for slip ons just so I can get into them (and still end up blowing out around the top). going into year two with the BMX Pro ones, though.

Can any of you guys shed some light on the sizing of the vans inferno? Does it run big/small?
I'm thinking of picking up a pair. I normally wear a size 9.5, but wear a size 9 currently in my Adidas acerras. Looking to switch to something less stiff that will flex more.

Anybody know where I can source a set of the Vans tongue stiffeners? Do not have the ones for my Verse any longer and they are slowly turning into slippers...
