I recently rewatched Wille’s interview for Eddie’s wall. Interesting listening to his reason for leaving the F8. Less of a team vibe and more of an Everyman for himself trying to be better than the other guys with so many strong rider personalities on the team. His switch to K2 and subsequent filming with the robots showed he was really wanting a proper crew enjoying each other’s riding kind of vibe.

Not sure they would get them all together again.

I didn't think I was hating. Forum in the Decade era for me was snowboarding. But that hero worship can't be duplicated so, it's going to be another solid brand option to look at.

I originally found eazy lounging in my vintage board searching. For a long time I was on a mission to acquire as many of those beloved boards that I had wanted so badly as a kid. And then the reissue thing for me is that it killed my love of collecting vintage boards. Idk if that makes sense to anyone else. The first few times it was kinda cool to see some loved graphics on modern shapes, but then it was like everything got redone and took the shine off having the OGs and the struggle that went into getting them. I mean, I really hustled to get some of those boards. And then you get to feeling like they're just going to drop that graphic again and dilute the cool of having it. When everyone can just easily have what you worked really hard to get it takes the shine off that hard work. It really hit me when I couldn't be bothered to even pick up the reissues of some of my most wanted boards on clearance... that the fun of having those boards was just over.

I don't begrudge anyone their success or desire to reboot those brands. Not one bit. So don't take this as hate. But I have a bit of a different feel about it I guess, and at this point it's more just indifference.

When JJ says this isn't your parents Forum... does he mean they're only making short twins again?

I fully hope Forum reestablishes into what it once was. Having boards made at the mothership certainly adds a lot of credibility to their intent.
