When you make a board called "The Log", you kinda have to paddle that shit 😇

isn’t he the guy that brought a paddle out when riding powder? Lol
semi-related, we have an OG skier at Troll that has a homemade mono-pole for skiing that he uses like a kayak paddle, and unscrews it in the middle when going up the chair. dude is a G though, out there ripping in some Carhartt bibs and a flannel, on what are probably first-gen shaped skis.
midwest is best

Jabilitation wrote: Tue Mar 04, 2025 4:14 am I had a redtail hawk for a couple seasons. Nothing spectacular or game changing about it, a fun shape that was manageable on the groomers I got to ride it on. I never got any powder days with it, so I can’t speak to how it rides in those conditions. The fit and finish on the Redtail I had was fine, but when putting it next to a Gentemstick, it was clear that the Elevated wasn’t in the same league. With that said, mine was from 2019 so they may have changed for the better. I haven’t kept up with them in a few years
according to you they re made to carve on slopes or they re only for deep snow? thanks
It did fine on groomed runs. I didn’t get the chance to ride it in deep snow.

You don't have to be upset about that one, I haven't tried the board. I saw the paddleposts as humoristic and self ironic anyways. Maybe I was wrong?

"Guys, please tell me your opinion of ___."
"Okay, ___ is kooky."
"That opinion upsets me."

...many such cases.

i think that in a forum there should be constructive comments. I can read also negative comments for who has really tried an Elevated board and the reason why don like the brand for me it's okay.

Read that the shaper made a board named "log" and say that a shit has not sense for me.

it’s weird when the owner suggests some reverse taper deck when someone asks for an all mountain twin, no? I’m sure those boards are fine, don’t let anyone here stop you from paddling down and getting tubular brah.
