As for runs, Wally World trees were super fun. Hobacks on a good pow day will burn your legs to shreds.
One of my enduring memories of JHMR is the only double black diamond cat track I've ever ridden. It was a normal cat track but getting stuck required dropping into mandafory full-commitment terrain. Didn't rent a car this time, was great being able to just take a bus and not deal with parking, waiting in lines. Flew directly into Jackson instead of driving from SLC. Really easy shuttle from town to the airport ($10)
Ski Patrol is pretty liberal about where they post their cliff warning signs... a lot of them are just maybe 5-7' drops, so if you dont mind that, you get a lot of lines no one touches the entire day.
I didn't get to tour this trip, but really want to next season. Saw so many people in the tram line set to go through the gates (incl Brian Iguchi)
