Base not flat

Have you ridden it? If so how does it ride?

I have ridden it a couple of times. It is super twitchy, like the tail is really loose until you really hit a hard slash then it sticks, it will almost send me over the handlebars on a frontside slash. I think it has the TBT right up until the contact points then it flattens out for maybe a centimeter. It's like a bataleon until the flat kick of the nose and tail. I thought it was the snow, changed boards and the problem went away.

Word, I thought maybe the weight of your person would flatten out the imperfection and make it a non-issue.
If you explain to Capita that it affects the way it rides I bet they are likely to take care of you.

Here is capita's reply.
"Thanks for reaching out. That does look funky. What you are seeing should not compromise the performance and durability of the board at all, but we are happy to take a look at this board."

This seems like they are setting me up for a let down. How do they think this would not compromise performance?

Maybe explain to them that while perhaps the majority of weekend riders aren't riding at a level to notice a performance difference, that you're a seasoned rider with decades of experience and had it not ridden with an compromised performance that was notable enough to cause concern, that you wouldn't have ever thought to look for an issue or put a level across the bottom. (You've never done that before). And you hope they'll give appropriate consideration to that this isn't just someone looking to make an issue, but someone that has been a happy and loyal Capita rider but for this instance that you hope they will remedy.

The base should be flat. This should be on them.

Looks scary, a base grind might straighten it out, but the curve is severe enough that a grind would take off too much material in the center.

I had a yes the greats similar to that a few seasons back, but maybe even more tbt-ish. I sent them video, they told me (more or less) to go kick rocks - said it was within their normal tolerances.
So, hell yeah capita.
