A lot of username changes on this iteration of EL so maybe you already know this story, but that was Romain‘s personal board while filming optimistic in AK, later signed when he came back

I think I remember that, I still have the kitty version and a 05 Uninc that was signed by Romain, Gigi and Danny Davis but not with the cool backstory of yours!
Was there a reason he was on the longer board or was it simply a deep pow season in AK?

Most of them were on the 58 up here for the bigger terrain, granted 58 is far from big 😜 he did ride the 56 a bit at Eaglecrest, though

The year they filmed it was one of our record seasons, but I still think it was more about the terrain

What’s the significance of the morrow in your pic, first board?

Yeah, back when morrow was legit. Not sure on the year, somewhere mid-later 90s. Got it from Boarderline, which had a massive impact on & role in making Alaska snowboarding what it was & is. Art by Joe Sorren

Burton Knowbuddy (hate base) 155
Burton Brushie 157
Bozwreck Messier 156
Burton Slush Puppy 155
Burton Mr. Nice Guy 155
Burton Backseat Driver
United Shapes Horizon 155
United Shapes Voyager 153
Gentemstick Mantaray 156

Newest addition is a sample Burton Cartographer 154. Price was too good to pass up ($150) and it’s brand new. Should be a fun daily, some taper and good dose of camber.
