I'm not sure if the Districts work the same, but on my Holograms the FLAD can be adjusted using the highback rotation screws. It's a bit annoying and kind of fiddly to set up, but it seems to work well enough as long as neither adjustment is too extreme.

I'll second tp1_kenobi on the comfort as well. I also enjoy the extra freedom nose to tail while still retaining enough toe to heel response, at least for my style of riding on the boards I'd mount the Holograms on in the first place.

Yeah, I’m a big fan of Shadowfit. Rode the Defenders (now the Highlanders) for multiple seasons. They’re one of those bindings that once I switched to adidas boots, I couldn’t fit in the medium or larges very well.

Let's try. :)
I was wondering how does the now bindings compare to salomon shadow fit technology , I had first version of this tech ( don't remember how it was called at the time and what model was , it was like 15 years ago) and remember that , apart being not confy at all , where kind of strange feeling , more loose feeling but was still powerful on turns , but seems like nobody really appreciate it.
Very, very different. Almost direct opposite I'd say... NOWs are very high support side-to-side, Shadowfit is basically zero support side-to-side.

I had a day on Shadowfit bindings last year and was pretty perplexed-- I hated them, felt like I had no support in medium Defenders. I was shocked because I owned large Defenders 2-3 seasons earlier and liked them (and I was riding NOW bindings back then too). I only sold them because I swapped boots from Burton to Adidas, and fell out of the size range of the large... figured I'd be good with a medium, and just could not stand them. I don't know if my preferences just changed dramatically or if they just didn't play nice with Adidas, but I was sketched enough that I just sold the Shadowfits the day after.

I have listened to your suggestions
I'm expecting to receive them this week

let's see if I can make them work for my boot size.
I suppose I have to change at least the toe straps, to make them work for size 7 boots; I have some Union toe straps that are much smaller than now and burton, so, let's see.
The next step, then, is to be able to center the binding on the board.
Please share your experience here, since I am size 7.5 in Burton boots and cannot figure out if size M in Now bindings will be able to be centered on the board of the baseplate will be too wide.

Ok , I had the relay , xlt , if I remember correctly , didn't like the fit-comfort , especially the straps , but I remember I had fun riding it , expecially in pow , was a strange feeling riding with that bindings but in some ways I liked it , I remember that there was a lot of cushioning , never had then and before bindings with that cushion , but I really didn't fall in love with , the cons was more than the pros so I went back to cartel.... but I'm curios about now technology , and I even would like to try again shadowfit ......many years ago , before now start production , me and a friend of mine had the idea to make a binding with a pivot ( we had a different idea about how it would work , we were thinking to put a pivot at the base of the binding , same idea as now but different developmnent) but , you know , it was just apres ski conversation  but when I saw now tech it reminded of my idea.

I’m a huge fan of Salomon shadow fit (I have the HPS districts) - super comfy, great build quality, nice straps. I wear adidas tactical boots too.

They are def the softest bindings I’ve had, wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for something really responsive, these are more “surfy”

I quite dig the Women's Violet colour, I'd buy that in a Large which just seems to be a men's medium? I enjoyed my Stratas when I owned them, I'm wondering though if as the Contact Pro replacement the Ultra would be too soft. Watching Japanese youtube videos and pausing and using my phone to translate onscreen captions only (predictably) muddied the issue. If I lived somewhere civilized I'd pop into a shop and take a look, maybe soon...

not sure about the womens sizing, if its narrower or just swapped the sizing. why wouldnt they just make it «unisex» and offer the colors in the same sizes they do now? could be to avoid confusion, but here we are, still confused…
