It’s easy… You finish your day… you feel like you've ridden like a pro and you are walking with your chest held high towards the parking... , so you reach for your googles with magnets, to remove them from your eyes, put it on the helmet and feel the breeze on your face…... in that moment when you grab the Google by one side you see something gray, it jumps through the air and falls a few steps in front of you, right under where two skiers are going to step... the rest it's the idiot's face

If you don't know the system, we can say that you put the lens up and it sticks by itself. You push it from inside and remove it. Doing it this way allows you to touch the lens less. I have some because I won them in a snowboard contest, but they are not a better option for me than a quick release like I have on the Oakley ones. It is true that I don’t carry spare lenses in my jacket. I choose some and wear them all dayjota wrote: ↑Tue Jan 30, 2024 3:03 pmIt’s easy… You finish your day… you feel like you've ridden like a pro and you are walking with your chest held high towards the parking... , so you reach for your googles with magnets, to remove them from your eyes, put it on the helmet and feel the breeze on your face…... in that moment when you grab the Google by one side you see something gray, it jumps through the air and falls a few steps in front of you, right under where two skiers are going to step... the rest it's the idiot's face

My facetious response was a lyric from a idiotic music group Insane Clown Posse. I'm just joking around. =)jota wrote: ↑Wed Jan 31, 2024 6:05 amIf you don't know the system, we can say that you put the lens up and it sticks by itself. You push it from inside and remove it. Literally the first time I’ve ever seen someone say the SLX was stiff.
a bit of taper, a lot of camber
Re: Hardgoods 24/25
SLX Stiff? Those are 5/10 on stiffness scale and got mushy on me in 2 weeks
Re: Hardgoods 24/25
I was thinking the same thing. They feel great all mtn and in the park. The liner is amazing, but I agree the imprint 3 liner is awful. Probably cause the SLX liner feels so amazing. I do have to add the j-bars to the boot, but its the best boot Ive had on my feet. I replace them every 2-3yrs, but been on SLX for prob the past 10 yrs.
I dont get the hate for the Genesis. I rode Vitas for two seasons, but the Genesis is the most comfortable binding Ive ever had. The Vita highback was meh at best, not to mention the heel hammock getting shredded from my boot.
Re: Hardgoods 24/25
I haven't ridden a Genesis since year one (2013 or 2014) pre-Hammockstrap, but I wasnt down with them. Indeed super comfortable, maybe the most comfortable binding Ive ever riddem, but zero feedback. Almost a weird flosty sensatiom. Possible I might like them with a stiffer strap-- the OG strap was very very thin and soft --but I rode them twice and sold them.
I never rode a Vita, but I really liked the Heel Hammock when I demoed a set of Cartel X. Little bit of that suspension feel, adds bit of grippiness and support driving into toeside turns, still the support of a "normal" highback.
