I think perhaps many of us watched at least part of her recent bombhole episode in which she talks about it, and there was some discussion here. Without little things like that, I wouldn't know for sure, although I still think I'd assume she at least rides a bit. Sounds like she's pretty frequent, from her recent comments.

What I don’t like, are the brands that have a show line of boards you never see, but heavily push crap gear on rentals, schools, resorts and wholesale/sportschains because they force a packagedeal with their skis and pretend like nothing has happened in snowboarding in 20 years, and their crap is the latest and greatest.

my guess is Rossignol there. i’ve actually been tempted by some of their recent boards.

One, Juggernaut, and Revenant are all pretty close spec-wise, just weirdly sized.

Finally found a set of Malavita wing backs for a decent price
I had to switch out the toe straps for the new style and they show a bit of wear but I'm stoked to try them at least.

Since I didn't get a response from my last post, curious how much binding overhang you all are okay with on a board? None? less than x amount? who give a shit?

I don't have many wide boards (usually ~25.5 ww) and I've never had an issue with medium Union bindings overhanging the edge of the board. I bought the Jones Mercury in medium this year and it overhangs on the toe edge a 1/4 inch+ on a 25.7 ww board. It doesn't seem to be an issue so far, other than cold toes on a cold powder day, but curious others thoughts since I haven't had bindings overhang like this.

Anyone tried a size small Now/Jones binding with a 9.5 boot?

I’ve been super happy with the Jones Mercury (and am looking at pulling the trigger on the Select Pros) but even with the pucks slid all the way to the heel edge, there’s still a decent amount of overhang on the toes. This boards waist width is 25.7.

Can you not move the bindings more towards the heelside with the slots in the disc?

If I can't get it perfect, I bias toward heel overhang because I'll never lay it over as far on my heels as I can on my toes.

+1 to @eleveneightnate . If I can't get exactly centered, I bias towards the heels. I can get way more leverage on my toes due to anatomy. If I'm even a little toe heavy, I can still ride but everything feels off.

Dave Downing told me at a clinic he prefers toe bias. But that guy also wraps his new boots in a garbage bag and runs them over with his pickup truck to get them soft as quickly as possible, so I don't know how representative his preferences are lol.

That's just old school foot molding tech. The garbage bag is so it's easier to collect the foot bones afterwards.
